M&E Manager (Electrical bias)

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced M&E Manager (Electrical Bias) to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of M&E works, with a focus on electrical systems, across large-scale commercial, mission-critical, or high-rise condominium projects.

You will lead coordination efforts, oversee subcontractors, ensure compliance with local authority requirements, and deliver projects to the highest quality, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all M&E aspects of assigned projects, with an emphasis on electrical systems (HT/LT, switchgears, gensets, UPS, etc.).
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients to ensure design intent and specifications are met.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Manage and supervise M&E subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., BCA, EMA, SCDF).
  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve M&E-related technical issues promptly.
  • Participate in project scheduling, cost control, and resource planning.
  • Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers on-site.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering a PEB-recognized university.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Proven track record in commercial buildings, data centres, or condominium developments in Singapore.
  • Strong understanding of local codes, statutory requirements, and authority submission processes.
  • Familiar with BIM, AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering/project management tools.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
