Top 3 reasons we invest in employee happiness & wellbeing

At Archer we’re committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment for every employee. Health and wellbeing is important to us, and that’s why we’re excited to launch the Archer wellbeing programme.

Our programme is about creating a great place to work, where employee happiness and wellbeing is at the top of our agenda. It’s a monthly timeout, where we get together as a team to enjoy some fun activities and outings outside of the office, organised by our wellbeing committee.

Here are the top 3 reasons for launching our wellbeing programme:

1. Employee Appreciation

We’re lucky to have a great team who all pitch in, work hard and are always on top of their game! That’s why we feel it’s important to show our appreciation, and giving back to our employees is our little way of saying thanks!

2. Sense of community

We’re a bunch of sharers and love to create a positive sense of community at work. It’s important that as a team we are supportive of each other’s efforts and look out for each other. Our regular monthly team events gives everyone the opportunity to hang out socially outside of the office. We have open conversations and get to know each other, discover hobbies and talk about things outside of work that interest us. It’s a great time to just be ourselves and enjoy each other’s company, have a few friendly debates about the best football team, who’s going to win the world cup, swap favourite recipes etc…

3. Work/ life balance

We recognise the need to provide a good work/life balance. We have some great perks including working from home, flexible working, early Fridays, and our wellbeing programme is an additional part of this. Giving everyone some time-out to refresh and get away from the day to day work activities helps to foster a work culture that puts employee happiness and mental wellbeing at the forefront.

Our wellbeing ambassadors have lined up some fun activities in the coming months and we’re looking forward to sharing these with you and measuring our employees’ happiness as we go along!
