Senior Cost Manager - Hotel & Residential Sectors

Archer Recruitment is working with an international construction consultancy to recruit a Senior Cost Manager to work on projects in the Hotel, Student Accommodation & Residential sectors.

You will be joining a well established Quantity Surveying team with an excellent reputation in the market, working with clients including prestigious London five star hotels, multi-national chains, PBSA providers and developers. The company has a modern office close to London Bridge, social team environment, and flexibility for hybrid working (typically 3 days per week in the office).
The duties of the role will include:

• Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities, and presenting the final cost plan.
• Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively.
• Production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
• Ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
• Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.

Candidates should be MRICS qualified with at least 5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience in a cost consultancy environment. Experience of leading projects at all stages in Hotels and Resi is ideal.
