Senior Quantity Surveyor

Archer Recruitment is pleased to be working with a national multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor due to the continued growth of their Project & Cost Management team in London.

The Senior QS will work closely alongside an Associate Director and get involved in both new build and refurbishment projects typically ranging from £500k to £30m, but also some projects of £100m+, in a variety of project sectors including commercial office, hotels, film studios, life sciences, and industrial.

You will take responsibility for key projects and clients, with day to day responsibilities including:

• Preparing complex cost plans and order of costs
• Carrying out tender analysis and preparing tender reports
• Preparing interim valuations and financial reports
• Agreeing variations and final accounts
• Attending site and design team meetings

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or  similar, with at least 4 years’ cost consultancy experience. Candidates should be MRICS with strong pre and post contract experience in a client-facing role.

The company has a new modern office based in the West End of London, and a hybrid working policy with around 3 days per week in the office. They have a friendly and varied team and regularly hold social and wellbeing events for their staff. 

A salary up to £70k is on offer (dependent on level of experience) with 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private medical, enhanced private pension scheme, season ticket loan, life assurance, and personal accident cover.
