Senior Airport O&M Engineer

To be employed on a major airport development programme in Saudi Arabia on a long-term contract basis.
 
The duties of the team:
 
  • Enhance capability for effective Asset Management Planning.
  • Establish and maintain well organized assets register
  • Develop an asset replacement portfolio based on well defined condition assessment
  • Develop route maps to capture local practices and enhance capability for effective Asset Management Planning for relevant standards e.g. ISO55000 / ISO55001accreditation
  • Develop processes based on industry best practice for the following key asset management activities
    • Operations & Maintenance (O&M) planning and manuals procedures
    • Project handover procedures
    • Lifecycle maintenance and inspection planning
    • Deterioration modelling
    • FMECA and Asset condition rating guidelines
    • Cost benchmarking across the development for Asset Stewardship
  • Share key emerging lifecycle activities with the strategic portfolio planning
  • Provide inputs and liaise with the client for business planning processes providing CAPEX deployment scenarios as requested
  • Provide inputs and liaise with the client for business planning processes by providing OPEX and REVENUE impact estimations of CAPEX interventions
  • Provide inputs and liaise with the client business O&M expenditure forecast including Capital Spares

The requirements for the role:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or equivalent (MSc. Is preferred).
  • Membership of an appropriate professional institution is preferred.
  • Ideally at least 15 years of experience in asset management in multi-site and asset rich companies using software programmes e.g SAP / MAXIMO / ULTIMO.
  • Must have experience with implementing process change to obtain ISO55000/ ISO550001 accreditation.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Client-facing experience.
