Senior Project Manager
We are proud to be working exclusively with Frameworks as part of their strategic plan to expand their London Team.
ABOUT FRAMEWORKS
Since launching in 2017, Frameworks is fast becoming a reputable name in the world of flexible workspace. They specialise in creating ‘managed’ self-contained units with a particular emphasis on design. They often take entire buildings and carry out comprehensive refurbishments from shell-and-core, typically creating one client unit per floor. Max Jezierski and Sam Roberts started the business over 7 years ago, with investment from Rob Hamilton (founder of Instant Offices and Chairman of Frameworks). More recently we hired Robin Lester to spearhead growth, and he’s been instrumental in building an impressive pipeline in the first 3 months of 2024. As the scale of our portfolio increases, we’re looking to build a world-class team to help Frameworks become a powerhouse provider of managed office space in the UK.

Frameworks is looking for an experienced, ambitious and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join their team in London. You will be responsible for transforming buildings into design-led managed workspaces that fit within the Frameworks brand. As the business scales there will be headroom to develop into a senior role with a great level of autonomy. Our goal is to set a new standard for design-led managed workspace, and you will be integral to us achieving that mission.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Frameworks partner with property owners to refurbish their buildings with speed and cost efficiency. The SPM role will take full ownership of this process, from the initial building survey and tender process to ongoing site management and final handover to our Operations team. You will work closely with individual contractors and D&B firms to apply the design guidelines to buildings of all shapes and sizes. The role will involve:
- Working closely with the Real Estate team as part of the due diligence process for new sites. Developing cost/feasibility analysis.
- Developing a detailed scope, using your technical expertise to outline the necessary specification for each project.
- Managing the tender process, leveraging your supplier network to work alongside trusted suppliers who can undertake the work.
- Managing the fitout process end-to-end; dealing directly with contractors and ensuring that each project hits KPIs around cost, specification and timelines.
- Developing and refining the product specification over time.
ABOUT YOU
- You have extensive experience delivering office fitouts and a firm grasp of the D&B process.
- You are meticulous with detail, both in terms of the specifics of the fitout and in terms of budget management for your projects.
- You have experience dealing directly with a wide range of contractors, managing the minutiae of a project as well as the top level.
- You are not afraid to get your hands dirty to get a project over the line - we’re a small team and scaling quickly, so there isn’t always an option to delegate.
- You’re completely at ease having full ownership of a project, and the accountability that comes with it.
- You’re pragmatic and cunning when it comes to costs - you’ll always hunt out savings without sacrificing the quality of the product.
- You have great interpersonal skills meaning you’re adept at the subtleties of stakeholder management, managing both upwards and downwards - acting as a go between for product, sales and finance.
- You have real creative flair and a genuine interest in workspace design - you would relish the opportunity to build upon Frameworks’ look and feel, coming up with new ideas for how we can differentiate our spaces and innovate in our fitouts.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER
- Autonomy - full ownership of your own work streams and projects.
- Variety - part of a lean organisation, offering unique exposure to different business verticals.
- Impact - implement new ideas that will affect the whole business.
- Challenge - respond and adapt to a rapidly growing and ambitious organisation.
- Competitive base salary - £50-70k annual salary (experience-dependent) and a generous bonus structure.
- Holiday - 25 days.
- Benefits - private healthcare.
- Perks - Soho office, Macbook, monthly team excursions.
