ARCHITECT / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – CENTRAL LONDON
Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Hybrid Working + Private Medical + Generous Pension + 28 Days Holiday
Are you an Architect looking to move into Project Management? Or an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong architectural, design or planning background?
I’m working with a small, dynamic project management consultancy based in Central London that is continuing to grow and is looking for its next key hire.
This is a particularly interesting opportunity because you don’t necessarily need to be a Project Manager already.
The business is specifically interested in people with a strong background in architecture, design or planning, who have the experience, commercial awareness and ambition to take ownership of projects and develop further within project management.
The role
You’ll work closely with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, taking projects from the early planning and design stages through to delivery and completion.
The role will include:
– Leading projects from inception through to completion
– Developing and managing project programmes and schedules
– Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
– Managing planning, design coordination and technical delivery
– Managing project budgets, cost control and financial reporting
– Procuring and coordinating consultants, contractors and suppliers
– Managing contract administration, variations and change control
– Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
– Attending site and overseeing progress through to practical completion
– Managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise
– Building strong client relationships and contributing to future business opportunities
Who could this suit?
They are open-minded about your current job title. You could be:
You’ll need to be confident dealing with clients and multidisciplinary teams, highly organised and able to work proactively and autonomously.
A degree in Architecture, Project Management, Construction, Planning or another relevant Built Environment discipline is expected.

- A Design Manager / Design Coordinator ready to broaden your project responsibilities
- A professional from a planning, development or property consultancy background with strong project exposure
- Ideally, you’ll have 5+ years’ experience within architecture, design, planning, construction, development or property consultancy.
You’ll need to be confident dealing with clients and multidisciplinary teams, highly organised and able to work proactively and autonomously.
