Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
The Opportunity
An established and growing property and construction consultancy is seeking an Assistant Surveyor / Project Surveyor to join its team. This role is ideal for someone working towards their APC, looking to build strong technical and commercial capability across commercial and/or residential projects within a supportive consultancy environment.
You will gain hands-on exposure across the project lifecycle, working closely with senior surveyors and project leads on a varied portfolio of developments.

You will gain hands-on exposure across the project lifecycle, working closely with senior surveyors and project leads on a varied portfolio of developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Supporting procurement activities, including tender preparation and analysis
- Measurement and preparation of interim valuations and variations
- Assisting with contract administration (JCT and/or NEC exposure beneficial)
- Monitoring project costs, cash flow, and change control
- Attending site and client meetings
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate project and commercial records
- Degree-qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Actively working towards APC (RICS or equivalent)
- Experience within commercial and/or residential projects preferred
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Proactive, motivated, and keen to progress professionally
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Salary £35,000 – £50,000 DOE
