Associate Director/ Director - New Build Office Development

One of our long term clients, a leading construction consultancy, is seeking a Associate Director to deliver high-profile projects across the commercial new build sector. This is a strategic, client-facing role for a driven professional ready to lead complex projects from inception to completion. You’ll be joining a highly respected team with a strong pipeline of work across a new build office development.
You’ll oversee and manage delivery teams, ensuring excellence across all RIBA stages. You’ll be responsible for stakeholder engagement, programme and cost control, and maintaining the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of a complex commercial project
• Manage full project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to handover
• Act as the primary client liaison, building key relationships with developers and investors
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, procurement, and construction
• Drive commercial performance and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirement:
• Proven experience in commercial project delivery essential
• Strong understanding of UK construction regulations and procurement strategies
• Experience managing projects across all RIBA stages
• RICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent professional accreditation preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A consultancy background and a strategic, commercially focused mindset
