Associate Project Manager

Are you an ambitious Associate Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering Commercial, Heritage, D&B, Hotel, Leisure and Residential projects?

They are seeking an Associate Project Manager to oversee the construction of a £ 30 million energy centre building within a Grade 1 listed museum campus in central London. The energy centre is to house the primary mechanical and electrical plant with office accommodation. The successful candidate will work within an existing Programme Management team and will take overall responsibility for the Project Management of the new energy centre

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring successful execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple aspects of refurbishment and new build projects within the Commercial and Residential sectors.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across diverse project teams.
Ideally, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
 
  • Heritage, M & E or Design & Build form of contract experience.
  • MRICS or equivalent Professional Qualification (or demonstration of consistent experience of delivering at this level for an extended period)
  • Experience in programming software including; Microsoft Project/Asta PowerProject
  • An in-depth awareness of the design, procurement and construction process
  • An understanding of general business strategic objectives
  • An awareness and understanding of wider industry issues and best practices and their impact on projects
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Capable of working to strict targets and timescales
  • Capable of communicating effectively and efficiently with colleagues and clients
  • High levels of attention to detail and the ability to independently solve problems
  • Has a positive and considered attitude toward challenging, negotiating and resolving matters within the team
  • Ability to consistently make effective decisions and can support and justify their decisions and actions
  • Operates effectively in a pressurised environment with competing demands and recognises when to assist others
  • Demonstrates good leadership qualities, including proactively managing other team members of varying technical ability
  • Committed to Continuing Professional Development and mentoring others including supporting the Graduate Development Scheme and RICS APC candidates
 
Compensation and Package:
The base salary for this role is competitive and will range from £65,000 to £80,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
