Chartered Senior/ Associate Project Manager - Residential

Our client a central London based boutique consultancy have built a uniquely diverse project delivery team that combines contractors quantity surveyors, project managers and engineers with more-traditional client-side cost and project managers.
 
With live residential projects ranging from 50 apartments through to 500 apartments across greater London and the UK, they are seeking an experienced, full time Senior Project Manager or Associate level PM with a good understanding of JCT Contracts to join their talented team.
 
As a senior member of the team you will possess experience as well as the the desire to mentor and manage junior members of the team liaising with both the client and contractor to ensure successful project delivery. You will be an integral part of the project and the key point of contact, navigating various schemes through to completion of the works. The projects you will be involved in vary from new build to refurbishment schemes, at a range of values from £20-£100m.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– Act as the day to day project lead on complex and / or projects of considerable scale.
– Managing those projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables.
– Engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining relationships.
– Preparing tender documentation and managing the process, including designing marking schemes.
– Compile contract documentation, including all relevant parts of the contract.
– Evaluating and reporting on all aspects of project programmes.
– Mentoring and coaching employees to their full potential.
– Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Units activities.
– Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects.
 
Requirements:
 
– MRICS or similar industry chartership required.
– Perfect candidate would have both contractor and consultant experience
– Experience of administering JCT and/or NEC Contracts
– Residential new build and refurb experience
– Creative problem solver
– Technically proficient with a keen eye for detail
– Multi tasker
– Team player – experience or desire to manage a junior team
