Clerk of Works - Residential projects.

Embark on an exciting journey with a dynamic specialist property investment and development company who are focusing on creating exceptional affordable housing living spaces, particularly in HMOs (Houses in Multiple Occupation), across London and the surrounding areas.
 
As their Clerk of Works, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction and refurbishment of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met throughout each project phase. With a competitive salary range of GBP60,000 – GBP70,000 and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, this 18 month contract offers the perfect platform to showcase your expertise and make a lasting impact.

Preferred Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Clerk of Works, with a strong focus on residential projects, HMO experience would be preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape governing residential properties and HMOs, ensuring all developments meet Home Standards, Local Authority guidance, and relevant building regulations
• Proven track record in supervising construction progress by third parties, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and compliance
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and architects

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not essential. Previous experience will always be taken seriously.
• Professional accreditation is highly regarded.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Clerk of Works or similar role, with a focus on residential properties.
