Commercial Manager - Taiwan

A global EPC platform with offices across Asia are seeking a Commercial Manager to be based in their Taiwan office. This is for an existing cleanroom project with a high profile client which is due to complete in mid 2026.

Alignment with Client on all commercial and finance processes;
Tracking, receiving and safely storing all bonds, insurances and warranties
Implementing all project change management, payment and cost control procedures and workflows;
Ensures effective post-contract administration of projects assigned;
Ensures full understanding of Head Contract terms and that all other stakeholders such as Key Project Team Members, Accounts and Finance understand and complies with the terms;
Works closely with Project Managers and Client on all daily project operations;
Liaises and establishes rapport with Project Team, Clients, subcontractors and suppliers;
Monitor, review and preparation of responses to all notices and contractual communications from/to Client and subcontractors/suppliers in a timely manner to mitigate risk and protect all Company’s interests;
Escalating and seek advice from Legal Counsel on contentious issues which may result in a legal dispute;
Proactively and expeditiously resolve contractual and commercial issues with Clients, subcontractors and suppliers;

Requirements:

Experience in engineering or construction industry
Experience in handling similar projects in excess of 10 million USD
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Sciences/Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Familiar with SIA form of contract, PSSCOC & other international form of contract.
Must be able to comprehend construction drawings, project specifications.
