Construction Manager

Our client is an award-winning International Main Contractor with a strong track record in large infrastructure projects globally. They have recently been awarded a large MRT project and are seeking a Construction Manager to lead.

Job Description:

• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion,
• Manage and review the work progress on a daily basis
• Be accountable for the safety and quality of the works as per project policies
• To plan, develop and organise the construction and implement the most cost-effective plan to meet completion deadlines within budget
• Propose organization to suit project objective
• Responsible for implementation of the scope of work related to construction project
• Report to Project Manager of project details, including safety, quality, progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner
• Monitor construction productivity, schedule performance, investigate performance and implement actions to improve performance
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Manage Main contract requirement
• Manage subcontractors within their contracts
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Participate in cost review and forecast for construction activities

Requirements:

• Min 10 years of construction management project experience including tunnelling & MRT projects in Singapore
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and ability to lead civil & infrastructure design and construction team
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB
