Archer Recruitment is proud to be supporting a global project management consultancy in the strategic build-out of their data centre delivery capability across APAC. As part of a regional programme of hyperscale and colocation developments, we are now seeking a Data Centre Lead to spearhead operations in Thailand.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced construction professional who can deliver complex technical infrastructure projects with precision and integrity, drive business growth and lead high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful delivery of data centre projects in Thailand, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Build and lead high-performing teams of project and cost managers, providing mentorship, direction, and support to foster collaboration and excellence.
• Act as a senior point of contact to clients throughout the project lifecycle, offering strategic guidance and technical insight.
• Drive business development across all data centre service lines, including project management consulting, cost and commercial management, and principal delivery.
• Secure and manage new contracts with hyperscale cloud providers, colocation operators, and investor-led clients.
• Take ownership of revenue, margin, and profitability targets for the Thailand DC portfolio, with a focus on sustainable growth.
• Collaborate closely with the Asia Regional DC leadership team to align on strategy and share best practices across markets.
• Engage in cross-border project delivery by leveraging the firm’s global expertise to enhance outcomes for local clients.

Candidate Profile

• Brings high integrity, a collaborative mindset, and a strong commitment to delivering successful client outcomes.
• Fluent in both English and Thai, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experienced working in Thailand and/or ASEAN markets, with solid understanding of local regulations and business culture.
• Willing and able to travel across the region to support cross-border project delivery.
• Proven success delivering hyperscale, colocation, or investor-led data centre projects.
• Deep understanding of data centre design, construction, and operations, including power, cooling, and IT infrastructure.
• Well-versed in current industry trends such as sustainability, energy efficiency, and AI/ML infrastructure requirements.
• Over 10 years’ experience in project, programme, or cost management within data centres or other complex technical infrastructure.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; master’s degree and professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng) are highly regarded.
