Director - Cost Consultancy

Archer Recruitment is working with a Canada-headquartered construction consultancy to recruit an experienced QS Director to lead its Cost Consultancy in Toronto.
The business has had significant growth in recent years, with 16 international office locations and over 20% employee growth last year. They have a global portfolio of projects valued at over $100bn across a wide range of industries and sectors.
In the Director role, you will be leading a team of around eight surveyors of varying levels, working on projects in sectors including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare & Culture. You will be responsible for coordinating the team workload and resources, whilst working alongside other Directors to develop wider strategies and manage annual budgets, targets, etc.
The successful candidate will be an experienced chartered Quantity Surveyor (PQS, MRICS or equivalent) from a consultancy background, with proven managerial experience at Director or Associate Director level.
The role is paying up to $200k CAD salary, plus discretionary bonuses, 3% RRSP contributions, health, dental & life insurance, minimum 20 days vacation per year and 10 paid sick days per year.
The company will consider candidates who are interested in relocating to Canada, and are able to provide visa sponsorship if eligible. A relocation package is also offered, to cover flights and first month accommodation.
