Archer Recruitment is supporting a leading global agent in Cambridge who is looking to appoint a Director of Project Management for their Life Science, Pharmaceutical and Education division.
 
Their consultancy arm offers expert services and solutions to clients across various industries such as new build developments, and industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, they strive to provide innovative and tailored solutions to the client’s project management needs.
 
As a Director, you will work within their Life Science, Pharmaceutical and Education team and play a pivotal role in leading and delivering successful projects. Your expertise and experience within the UK consultancy sector will be instrumental in providing exceptional service to clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company’s growth and success.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their project requirements.
  • Actively engage in business development activities, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our client base within the industrial and logistics sector.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, delivering projects by best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure seamless project coordination and successful outcomes.
  • Provide strategic input and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and processes.
Requirements:
  • MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM chartered status is desirable.
  • Strong CA (Contract Administration) and EA (Employers Agent) experience.
  • Business development experience is preferable, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of Project Managers.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • A thorough understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
