MEP Cost Manager - Belgium

Archer Recruitment is working with a global construction consultancy to recruit a MEP Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor in Belgium, to join a site-based team on a hyperscale data centre project for a global tech client.
  
This is a client-facing role working on site in the south of Belgium. Candidates should be based there or willing to relocate, but must have the right to work in Belgium. The company is unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship.
  
The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Actively participate in the tender process from initial documentation through to analysis and reporting, ensuring maximum value for the client.
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to the team.
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor from a consultancy or contractor background with 5+ years’ experience. Experience working on projects in the data centre sector would be ideal but is not essential.

A salary up to 85k EUR is on offer, plus benefits including healthcare, pension, life assurance, and 25 days holiday. A relocation and settling in allowance is also provided to eligible candidates.
