The Opportunity
A well-established construction consultancy / advisory business is seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative to support a growing portfolio of projects across Canada. This is a bespoke hire, suited to senior construction professionals transitioning from site-based delivery into an office-led, client-facing advisory role.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will act as the Owner’s Representative, providing oversight and technical leadership on construction projects from pre-construction through delivery. The role involves high-level coordination, reporting and stakeholder management, with periodic travel west to support live projects.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Act as Owner’s Representative / Client PM on active construction projects
- Provide construction leadership and technical oversight during delivery
- Review contractor programmes, methodologies and sequencing
- Monitor construction progress, quality, safety and risk
- Review and challenge cost reports, change events and forecasts
- Support procurement strategies and contractor engagement
- Attend key site meetings and undertake site inspections as required
- Produce clear, concise reports for client and lender stakeholders
- Interface with developers, contractors, consultants and funders
- Support due diligence and transition from construction to completion
- Strong background as a Site Project Manager or Construction Manager
- Alternatively, experience in developer in-house construction teams
- Comfortable moving from site-based delivery into an office-led advisory role
- Proven experience delivering multi-residential, rental, student housing or mixed-use projects
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Confident communicator with senior stakeholder exposure
- Construction professionals from developer or contractor environments
- Individuals with experience in advisory, monitoring or client-side roles
- Bespoke package based on experience and engagement type
- Option for permanent or fixed-term contract
- Exposure to a strong and growing project pipeline
- Senior-level, trusted role with direct client interface
