A leading independent construction and property consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract experience to support a major nationally significant nuclear infrastructure programme in East Anglia.
The programme forms a cornerstone of the UK’s net zero strategy, delivering long-term, low-carbon energy generation and playing a critical role in national energy security.
The Role
- Front-end commercial and procurement delivery under NEC contracts
- Preparation of tender documentation, procurement strategies and contract data
- Early-stage cost planning, risk management and commercial reporting
- Working collaboratively with client, design and delivery teams on a highly regulated programme
- Supporting best-practice commercial governance from project inception
- Quantity Surveyor with experience in consultancy or client-side environments
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Background in infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects advantageous
- Comfortable operating at the front end of complex, long-term programmes
- Based in, or willing to commute to, Ipswich / East Anglia
- Work on a career-defining nuclear project aligned with net zero objectives
