Key Highlights:
- Oversee a portfolio of HMO properties, managing the property managers and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth property operations and foster strong relationships.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve the financial performance of the portfolio.
- Demonstrate expertise in residential property management, asset management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of HMO requirements, property law, and health and safety standards.
- Possess excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills to effectively manage the portfolio and liaise with various stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across the portfolio.
- Oversee planned works and scrutinize third-party reports to identify and monitor known risk items.
- Manage budgets and forecasts for property maintenance and improvements, ensuring rents are paid on time and arrears are avoided.
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualification is essential.
- Proven track record in property management, asset management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with HMO regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
