Safety Manager

Construction

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in iconic and commercial building projects. They are seeking for a Safety Manager for a potential new project.

Job Description:

Advise management on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) legal requirements and keep them informed of any changes.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and the WSH (Construction) Regulations.
Assess the company’s safety performance and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Evaluate the company’s safety resources and provide recommendations to management to meet EHS requirements.
Coordinate with senior management and project teams to conduct monthly safety site walks.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project/Site Manager.

Requirements:

Accredited as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Hold a Diploma in Engineering or Environmental Health and Safety.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to lead WSHOs and provide supervision, guidance, and instructions to all safety personnel.
Comprehensive knowledge of government regulations related to Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental fields.
Proficient in OSH/ISO documentation.
