An established global consultancy within the built environment is experiencing significant national growth across its Cost Management function and is seeking Senior Cost Managers / Associates to join its expanding teams in Birmingham and the South West.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking business at a key stage of expansion. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects while contributing to the continued development of a strong regional and national presence.
 
The Role Working closely with Regional Cost Management Leads, you will deliver best-in-class cost management services across a diverse range of sectors. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, combining technical excellence with innovative, data-driven tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cost management services across all project stages, from feasibility through to post-contract
  • Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
  • Manage project costs and ensure effective financial control throughout delivery
  • Provide strategic advice on procurement, value engineering, and risk management
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and design teams
  • Manage multiple projects with a focus on quality and client satisfaction
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Leverage digital platforms and AI-driven tools to enhance accuracy and reporting
Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
  • MRICS qualified or working toward chartership
  • Strong technical cost management experience across multiple sectors
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
