An established, internationally recognised construction consultancy has secured additional work on a major water processing plant project in the Bristol area and is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the growing local team.
With a strong pipeline of secured work across the South West, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute SQS who is keen to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure within the water sector.
The Role
You will be embedded within a large-scale water processing plant scheme, taking commercial responsibility across key work packages under NEC ECC. Working closely with project managers, engineers and client stakeholders, you will ensure robust cost control, contract administration and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management under NEC ECC contracts
- Administration of compensation events and change management
- Cost reporting, forecasting and financial control
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Risk management and value engineering
- Stakeholder engagement across client and delivery teams
- 7+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience
- Strong background in NEC ECC contract administration
- Experience in civil engineering and process-led infrastructure projects
- Water sector or similar utilities experience preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Ideally Bristol/South West based or able to work site-based locally
- Long-term secured workload within the Bristol region
- High-profile infrastructure project
