Senior Solutions Engineer - Data Centre

Position Overview:

This position would suit an experienced design engineer that has the drive to transition into a solutions focused role, or a highly technical ‘pre-sales’ engineer that is looking for their next opportunity.

This is a key role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to design and implement complex engineering solutions, ensuring that customer needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer requirements and create comprehensive technical proposals and documentation.
Design and develop high-level engineering plans, including space layouts and M&E schematics, for client projects.
Produce and present technical materials such as pitch decks and presentations to both customers and internal stakeholders.
Work closely with the internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer expectations.
Develop and refine advanced engineering models, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Lead technical discussions with customers, manage project scope, and guide the development of tailored solutions.
Manage communications and coordinate information across multiple departments to support proposal development.
Facilitate technical workshops and meetings to ensure a clear understanding of project specifications and progress.
Guide the negotiation process with clients on technical aspects and alternative solutions as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering design, building systems, or related fields, with a focus on customer engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
Strong understanding of CFD and engineering analysis.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams across multiple regions.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically and creatively.
